Risk Innovations’ founder is Rose A. Kugler, who has thirty-five years of insurance and risk management experience.
Rose began her career in the commercial insurance industry in the early 1970s, in insurance company underwriting, then in agency marketing/brokerage positions; entering the field of Risk Management in 1984 as risk manager for a public transit authority. In 1992, she moved on to the Real Estate industry, joining the Village Green Companies where she was Vice President of Risk Management until 2000 when Risk Innovations was formed to provide professional outsourced risk management services to real estate organizations throughout the US.
Included in her credentials are the professional designations of Chartered Property-Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist (CRIS). She teaches the CPCU and ARM courses to insurance and risk professionals, and received the AICPCU/IIA Outstanding Course Leader Award.
Ms. Kugler is past president of the Michigan Public Risk Management Association, author of articles in professional journals and trade publications, and lecturer on risk management for the Insurance School of Chicago, National Multi-Housing Council, Multi-Housing World, Chicagoland Apartment Association, Risk & Insurance Management Society, American Society of Safety Engineers, and others.
As a risk manager in both the public and private sectors, Ms. Kugler brings a
business perspective and unique insight into the challenges of managing risk for many types of organizations.
