TERRITORY MARKETING MANAGER • NORTH CAROLINA/SOUTH CAROLINA

Position Summary: Risk Innovations is a national wholesaler that specializes in Personal Lines and Workers’ Compensation Insurance.  With our expansive list of markets and unparalleled expertise, we are proud to offer our agency partners customized solutions for their clients.  Risk Innovations has been in business since 2002 and continues to elevate expectations in the marketplace.  We are currently seeking exceptional new Territory Marketing Managers.  These positions are responsible for all sales activity within their defined geographical territory – for both Personal Lines and Workers Compensation.

Department: Marketing

Job Location: Centrally located within designated territory of NC and SC

Primary Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):

  • Prospect, appoint, and monitor agency relationships and success in defined territory
  • Assist with the territory development plan and execute sales strategies that will result in exceeding defined growth goals
  • Act as our company’s knowledge expert and client services resource for our agency partners
  • Actively grow gross written premium for both Personal Lines and Workers Compensation using a variety of sales techniques and resources (specific targets will be identified)
  • Manage hit ratios, new business submission activity, new business premium growth from agency partners – and ensure agencies are utilizing all of Risk Innovations capabilities (WC and PL)
  • Attend relevant industry events and conferences to generate sales and manage agency relationships
  • Leverage Salesforce and other sales resources to drive growth in your territory
  • Maintain strong marketplace knowledge (knowing competitors and carriers’ strengths/weaknesses) and communicate it regularly to internal team and apply it in the field – so that we can always be identifying emerging business opportunities

Education/Experience:

  • 3-5 years of insurance experience in sales and marketing preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Demonstrated results in effectively growing relationships and driving growth/revenue
  • Overnight travel required
  • Engaging and effective communicator – superb active listening skills, verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated and goal oriented
