Risk Innovations helping out U First
From Erica Wright, CEO/Founder of U First, Inc.
Hello Ms. Cone
I would like to thank you very much for the donation of the toiletries, snacks and water. At U First we strive to provide the basic necessities to our most under-served community, the homeless in the greater Atlanta area. Simply providing toiletries, snacks and water to a person in need not only provides a means for hygiene, hydration and nourishment, but more importantly, it shows there are people that truly care about them. The Lord leads our U First organization each day to help his children. But it is people like you and Risk Innovations that enable us to fulfill God’s direction.
Please thank others within Risk Innovations for their generosity. I have attached a few pictures of U First in action. We are committed to continue serving more and more of our homeless.

The Atlanta Risk Innovations Team back at work at the Ronald McDonald House!
We had a great time again at the Ronald McDonald House, making tacos! We’d like to give a big “Thank You!” to Jennifer Cone for organizing the event, and we couldn’t have done it without the help of the “Mendonca squad!” Thanks for all your hard work.
The Ronald McDonald house helps provide food for families in the Atlanta area that don’t have the time, energy, or resources to prepare or purchase a nutritious meal. Volunteers help prepare and serve nightly dinners, occasional lunches, and weekend brunches at the two Atlanta locations.
For more information, or to find out about volunteer opportunities, please visit their Web site at www.armhc.org.

Thanks to all of your support, Risk Innovations as a company raised over $25,000 in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The Atlanta Great Strides Event, the #1 Walk in the nation, raised over $2.1 million! We couldn’t have done it without you.
Our Kansas City office is holding a Silent Auction at Top Golf in Overland Park, KS on May 10th. There will be food, drinks, and lots of fun! If you live in the area, please come and join us for this event. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and their continued research.
Please visit our page at https://www.riskinnovations.com/insurethecurekc/ for more information, and to download an event flyer you can share with your family and friends. If you have an item that you would like to donate for the silent auction, please download our donation form and submit it with your item.
Thank you for your support, and we hope to see you on May 10th!
It’s fundraising time! We have linked up with the Kendra Scott store at Avalon, and on Friday, April 21st, every sale between the hours of 6-8 PM will count towards our fundraising efforts – they will give 20% of every sale to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on our behalf!
If you can’t attend the event in person from 6-8 PM, you can browse the items online, then fill out this order form. We will turn the order forms in on the day of the event, so they will count towards our fundraising efforts. All orders using the downloadable form MUST be placed before April 21st! Once you have filled out the form, send it to Cheryl Crandall at the address below:
So get shopping at www.kendrascott.com – Mother’s Day gifts, graduation gifts, treating yourself because you’re AWESOME, etc.
Please spread the word to all your friends. We only have a small window of opportunity here, so let’s make it count. Thanks!
Join us for “CF de Mayo” on Thursday, May 4th. Food, drinks, a silent auction, and live music! Click on the image above to download the flyer, and feel free to share it with others. Snellings Walters, a long-time sponsor of Great Strides, formed Insure the Cure, an alliance with the insurance industry of Atlanta to raise awareness and help find a cure for cystic fibrosis.
In 2011, the Atlanta insurance community came together for the first time to form an alliance called Insure the Cure in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Insurance agencies, companies, brokers and re-insurers from across the city joined forces to raise awareness about cystic fibrosis and fund raise in support of a cure for this devastating disease.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Cold Weather Clothing Drive, and helped raise awareness of City Union Mission and the great work they do to support the surrounding communities! Thanks to your donations, winter was much warmer for many of those who would have gone without adequate cold weather clothing. Please visit the City Union Mission Web site to learn more about the organization, and how you can continue to help those in need.
Thanks once again for your support!
